Title: Liquid Cooling Of The Sheepy Kind
Post by: TeaLeaf on August 31, 2003, 08:44:58 AM
This (http://www.stud.ntnu.no/~arnesen/peltierbeer/index.html) thread is a MUST read.  If ever you wanted to know just how important good cooling is then you need to read the article.  Cooling will never be the same again.

I am also considering opening a book for how long it will take Sheepy to build one  :dribble:

tosser thats far 2 hot to drink guinness, it should b drunk at 3-4 deg. C
not 7. totaly distracts from the taste.
nice idea, but im going to go down the far simpler route, im gettin a mini fridge and putting a molex connection on it so i can run it from my pc!!!
as they run from a car cig lighter which is 12v from memory it should work by x'ing the inputs from the molex , as one is 14v, maybe to much and the other is 9v, if i x them then it should give me about 11.5v ish, almost perfect!

Lightweights.

Still, if you want a good use for cooling technology, you should see this:

If you haven't seen it before, run through it - it's very funny, and depressingly familiar :-)

Think you'll find the plug that go into the hard drive are 12v (yellow wire) and 5v (red wire)
