I've been thinking to get a monitor with TV capability (note: NOT TV as a monitor). Unforunately those are not so numerous.
Now I came across Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD. Does anybody have any experience of this one? Is it any good or should I stay far from it? :g:
Some specs: 23inch, 1920 x 1080 (full HD), TN panel (yeah, unfortunately), 5ms, 15pin D-sub, DVI-D, 2HDMI, Component, DTV Tuner (DVB-T), Optical Out, Scart, CI Slot. Weights 6.1kg.
I'm taking a guess here but I'll bet there won't be anyone saying 'stay far from it' We'll see. :)

Well my understanding is you don't want to be too close either as it could damage your eyesight :flirty:
See? Told you there would be some positive input. :D
My housemate has a the smaller version of this. Seems great. The problem I find with these monitors is the power button. I'm one of those people who struggle with softtouch buttons (iPod wheels and laptop trackpads can be a little hard to use for me sometimes, I guess it's thick skin on my fingers from playing the bass) Anyway, took me an age to switch it on, other than that, it's great.

I've got the T220 which has the soft touch button and I like it. :)
I have a Samsung Syncmaster aswell, good screen in my opinion and I like Samsung (got an Samsung TV aswell).
Thanks for the replies.
Now my next concern is can it handle the text system used by some Finnish TV channels properly. Some channels do not write the texts over the screen, but send them separately so that viewer can select the language from multiple ones sometimes. My old digibox goes nuts with it occasionally :sideways:
Any experience is the rescaling (downscaling from the native 1920x1080) good enough for playing? The native resolution could get bit high for some new games.
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you hear that? It was the question rushing right over my head, sorry!
Aquilifer have you tried asking //www.afterdawn.com ?
