I wanted to get on L4D last night, I could see that Blunt, Ranger and Benny were on through steam friends.
But when I clicked on join I got an error message saying that the player wasnt playing on any server!
I checked HSLW and our servers were empty....
Went into the game and I could see you guys playing but could not join.
so.....what the heel !
It was summat to do with the latest L4D patch.
It's been fixed by the server fairies now:D
FYI I connected by starting the game and typing "connect 77.108.129.45:27031" into console

My hlsw is showing the lfd servers but my player names aren't showing for those who are connected.
Any ideas on a fix?

It's nothing the admins can fix. Valve borked the last patch - again! :sideways:
Shocking.... I have had some issues seeing who is on the server, but it normaly joins ok. I suppose wait and see when valve fixes it.
