Got it, installed it, seems ok. Definately faster that IE7 but I'll stick with Firefox.

Boot time decreased a fair bit, hdd activity on system load decreased :)

browsing wise, not the big difference in IE8 tbh :)

I'm still running ie6 on all my machines.

I prefer the format to ie7/8 but my main browser is still firefox.

I only use ie6 for windows update :D

Adblock plus, script sentry and foxmarks are now absolute must haves for me. Assuming IE8 doesn't offer these features it's going to be a bit of a non starter. Such is the power of firefox extensions :)

IE 7 on my work comp scores 2/100 o.O and the page looks totally messed up :P

I think Opera/Konqueror (current release) scores the highest 85/100

I think it uses a lot of HTML, CSS and Javascript funky but not-oft-used tricks that are part of the standards for each, so if browsers claim to be 'Standards Compliant' they should render it right. But of course the standards are quite large, so a lot of browsers either don't implement the full standard or use shortcuts, which are shown by this test.
