cakewalk. should have tried at least two.
Sarth with 2 Drakes or 3 drakes up is where it starts getting a little more challenging as you are forced to deal with the 'acolyte' phase in addition to the whelps from Tenebron.
With all 3 drakes up they join the fight in the order Tenebron, Shadron, then Vesperon. The logical drake to kill for a 2 drake attempt is Shadron (leaving Tenebron & Vesperon alive) so that you have sufficient time between Tenebron landing and then Vesperon landing to have killed Tenebron and the adds before Vesperon lands. If you kill any other then you end up with a longer period of '2 drakes up' which makes incoming damage spike upwards a lot. The worst drake to kill for a 2 drake attempt is Tenebron as it means you have to deal with both Shadron's & Vesperon's abilities and those of their two acolytes. Inevitably you will end up with a period where these overlap and this is the bit where the healing gets slightly more challenging and the incoming damage approaches 'one-shot' levels.
For the two drake attempt I would kill Shadron pre-pull.
Don't bother DPSing Sarth at the start, just pick up some needed rage for Tenebron and then all dps be ready at the south end of the island to go hell for leather on Tenebron as soon as he lands. Do NOT blow heroism at this point, you have enough time to kill Tenebron and then clear up the adds before Vesperon lands.
Vesp will land on the north side of the island and as soon as he lands blow heroism and all CDs to kill him asap.
When his acolyte appears damage will spike upwards again, so you need to burn through Vesperon rapidly to minimise the period that you have both Vesperon and his acolyte up at the same time.
When Vesperon is down raid damage will decrease a little, all dps goes through portal to kill the acolyte and a hybrid dps'er can heal whichever platewearer ends up tanking the acolyte. Rest of healers remain outside with all tanks, the tanks will off-tank the blazes whilst dps is in the portal.
Time the exit from the portal to avoid arriving just as a lava waves passes (thus wiping the raid) and then all dps clear up the adds.
From this point on the fight is about prioritising DPS on the adds, then Sarth. The adds can and will wipe you at this stage if you do not keep up with them and keep their numbers down.
Eventually Sarth dies and you collect purplz and a new achievement!
Give it a go next week!
