Death Aboard 6.1:

http://lfs.deadmen.co.uk/dab61.zip

It's now in a .vpk file which needs to be dropped into your 'left4dead\addons' directory.

But the old one was a bunch of files, so needs to be manually deleted.

Obviously this is only for those of you who installed it.

There are a couple of other files in the old zip file, but they seem to get absorbed by the L4D code, cos they don't appear on my PC's and I did a full extract.

Damn I thought they wouldn't take me seriously when I told them not to let you get it!! :norty:

Dr Sadako did download the previous version to his super-fast-whizzy-go-faster-than-a-fast-thing-with-a-chilli-up-it's-posterior website.
Maybe he would be good enough to do this again?

Nevermind. I sorted it using the tool found on this page (http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=26).

My understanding is that the vpk file simply needs to be dropped into the add-ons folder.

Rumour has it that the server should deliver it automatically if you do not have it installed - doesn't work for me tho.

Coal'd Blood (http://files.deadmen.co.uk/l4d/coaldblood_010909_1547.zip) has now been loaded on ColdStore.
It has a versus map but I think it is primarily Co-Op only.
Testing has begun.

Just tried version 7 as a co-op run through.

From what i can see level one start has been altered  for about the first 1/4. They have opened it up and made it more appealing to smokers to punish straggler survivors. Although this could be as its co-op and not versus.

The second level also has alterations when starting the crescendo to enter the parking lot. You now need to go into the sewer to flick a generator switch to allow you to start the crescendo. This might not be new but i can't say i have noticed it before.

Theres also a new death aboard soundtrack in the release too.
