Hi all, first of all I just want to say I do see that Resto Druids apps have closed but I read about your guild and also saw that you might consider an app even if that class recruitment is closed, so here goes and essay inc. :)
My name is Antonia I'm 34 and come from London. I work for a large UK bank (ahem no comments pls, I'm not one of the big fat cats!) as a manager in their HQ and for quite a while now I've not been living with mummy so she can't tell me what time I need to go to bed at nites, so my home life is fairly flexible :)
What kind of internet connection do you have?
Been on o2 for over 6 mths now and have 14mg BB which runs beautifully.
What are the core specs of your computer?
Quad core Q6600, 4gb, 64-bit OS and a blinkin lovely graphics card but I can't remember the spec. Basically I don't ever get 'lag' in any cities/instances.
How long have you been playing computer ames and what kind?
Used to play lots of playstation in my younger years, was a Streetfighter addict, then had a long time where I didn't play much until an ex-bf gave me my very own copy of WoW just over 4 years ago and I was hooked.
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
I go way back to the good old days of 'vanilla' WoW so MC, AQ20, BWL etc right thru to now and have completed 10 man naxx (twice pugged a 25 man naxx) EoE, VoA plus all the usual HC's.
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
I've been in a few guilds, some have disbanded or moved server. Am now in a small guild with R/L and WoW friends that have stood the test of time - currently in a guild called Resurgence which was formed recently out of The Exalted. Have an alt, Suga, in Lightning Troopers.
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in in case we need to contact you?
I have alts but I don't actively play but you might find me on Suga
What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
Right well so far I've been a core member of the raid team in my current guild and have suffered the wipes (3rd phase of EoE springs painfully to mind) but I have been patient and have come away with some nice gear (currently working on my PVP gear) but most of I've taken away some awesome up to date raid experience and would like to continue that to 25 man (& girl) raids.
My personality, well it depends, in raids I am fairly quiet, I'll only speak when I need to clarify things, this is more out of respect for the R/L and the job they do. But in guild chat or what I call fun runs (i.e. 4 man HC's or HC's with no tank) then I can be quite silly I'm not shy with doing a bit of healing as well as DPS! On occasions you might find me floating face down in some lava or being ambushed by a pack of rabid NPC's but I do try to keep these things to a minimum and to be honest I reckon it's a girl thing* - a bit like map reading, lets say no more! *Disclaimer - sorry to any other girl's that disagree!
Name one thing you don't like about WoW in its current state.
I miss the chaos of the pre TBC 40 man raids :sad:

Why did you decide to play this class?
My first ever char was a warrior who is currently lvl 70 and then had a mage currently lvl 72. Started this druid for a bit of fun one day and then absolutely loved the versatility. Tried Feral when lvling and it was oke and quite enjoyed it but then I tried healin and found that I came out much better as a healy. I also PVP'd from when I hit 70 to when WoTLK came out and think that has helped heaps too with reflexes etc.
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
Nice healer lady, who carries lots of pots n food and who will carry on til the bitter end.
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
I did lots of research on my build and I do keep my eyes/ears open and will change things every now and again and try them out to gain the most optimum spec at the time but things change and evolve and so do I :D

''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
I have these vision's of this guild starting on a new boss and they are perfectly normal looking chars (not yukky hordey things) but loosing more and more hp and then omg some die and you think oh ffs we are gonna wipe but no we don't give up and thru skill, team work and persistence we smash the boss' head in with an old broom and a big stick or summet and we all cheer and woot loudly on T/S or Vent.
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
Mainly because you seem like a very organised and mature guild and also because of your raid times/days and ethos.
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?

Have you read our 'what we look for' and 'philosophy' posts? What do you think of them?
I like the fact that you state you are a drama-free, mature, social guild with the kick-ass in game attitude.

A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Depends what it is, this is only a game after all so might ignore it but if he/she is being a prize plonker you might get a few eff's but then I don't hold grudges neither.
