Dead Men Walking

We need to know as we are trying to figure out exactlly how to organise our raid schedule.

we would be looking to get the raid moving at 19:00 server time. which is 1 hour erlier.

We think that this would give us the best oportunity to progress the quickest, but obviously cant do it if the majority of people are not available.

Fine with me at week ends
Personally I would prefer to start 1/2 an hour later during the week as its sometimes a rush to make it.

Yes that would be fine with me as I have no particular schedule.

On another note though will we still be doing Naxx 25 to get all of us who still need it geared up a bit better?

I disagree a bit, I see you are making a nice progress in the Ulduar 10man and that can be achieved with only doing it. Not with youtube. Like Malygos it would have gone down earlier if we had tried it harder, heck you got it down on the second proper raid night at the second try! And yes there a some bits of gear that people need from Naxx but those are like from the last 3 bosses, and before those there are kazillion bosses. Feels like Naxx is a DE fest 9 out of 10 loots. And we have had only one 25man raid in Ulduar and most people were there at the first time, still downed a new boss. Not bad imo, and if we keep wiping for 2 weeks to the second boss and don't get any new bosses down more than 50% hp then I can change my opinion.

After tonights ulduar raid - i take back my statment, we wern't really the best geared for tonights raid yet we still put decent efforts in... so it is do-able... if we go i suggest doing XT-002

I've only been in naxx-25 with you guys once, at that time we only de'ed 2 items from 8 bosses (yeah okay I was one of the reasons that we didnt de too much) But still I believe it's not only me that needs stuff from in there.
It's fun to go ulduar and try to kill new bosses, but i dont think there is any reason to rush and make naxx-25 a one-night clear to have more time in ulduar. I cant make it at 19:00 either so i'dd be sad if i couldnt do naxx-25.

I think we should just rotate them all, (just as we are)

Ulduar was a pain getting wiped about 6 times. (think of the fish!)
However we did make good progress and worked out some of the tactics so nothing was lost.

But Friday night is best imo as a fun run, and I prefer the old dungeons and stuff as I have not done them all.

But im easy and will go with the flow.

Ulduar = harder than Naxx. That means we'll wipe alot learning, and I don't believe that's related to gear in most cases.

The thing with Naxx is there's a good chance the only items still needed for most people are from the last 2 bosses. If gear is still needed across the board then yes, we should still run it. When the point comes where we start countering wipes in Ulduar with more gear runs from Naxx in order to compensate for flawed execution of tactics (fancy words :P), we're doing something wrong.

I can't tell from 1st hand experience how bad it is, but I'm having trouble thinking of anyone in our current raidgroup who still needs a motherload of gear from Naxx (and whose getting of that gear would then make a huge difference).

What I'm trying to say is getting, for example, your helm from KT instead of a random earlier one from Naxx25 is not going to make much of a difference for Ulduar progression, and I don't think it's worth farming Naxx over and over for just those last 2 bosses whose needed items may or may not drop, just to get (relatively) minor upgrades, whilst in the meantime wasting valuable Ulduar raid time :)

There are a few people that really could use some gear from naxx and then not only from the last 2 bosses. But the main core of our raiders has most of the stuff out of naxx and could only get minor upgrades.
 
Ulduar is a hard instance compared to naxx also because the fights are new to us etc.  But we have done a good job on the 10 man runs we had and seen some good stuff and progress that is also good to use for the 25 man raid. We even had ideas comming on how to get to or do some bosses we not even went to.
 
yes it will be a whipefest in the beginning but as we have shown with the 10 man runs we get the job done and that also with peeps not doing his/her normal job.

Yes, please take note I'm not saying we should drop Naxx right now, I'm just saying that while we run Naxx for now, don't expect it to last forever as it won't come to the point where we use up a whole sunday just to get KT/Sapph down for those last few upgrades :) At least that makes sense in my eyes :P
