:cry: Just to let you know...i found out my system hangs when i try to record a demo...rather than waste time i came out of the match to go and find a sub...thx Oldie for jumping in..
i dont have a clue why it hangs the only thing i can do is re-boot ...i think Tealeaf had the same prob...ill have a poke around and see if i can find anything but if anyone has had this problem before shout up it may save me doing a full install
No the only way to get around it is to format your hard drive but now that you have tried to record a demo you will start to find problems happening with your PC it will just crash for no reason and then your mouse will stop working followed by your graphics card setting fire and burning down your house. It is quite a common thing so my advice is go and make your self a boot disk restart ur pc in dos and type A:format c: this will sort out the problems u are having and reduce the risk of a burnt down house.

I will have you know that i have had to do this exact thing to fix my PC that is why i have to move house mine appears to be a pile of ash...
Believe me JAS you will have to take this action and do it quick dont despair if you need help ask sheepy he is excellant with his PC rebuilding skills ...yep he calls oldie and oldie gets him a new one....
