Title: No Follow on links
Post by: Jamoe on May 07, 2009, 09:36:46 AM
Not really an Issue just an observation. :)

I noticed a spam post in this thread from Sept 08.

I think its only there for google juice, which is weird as I thought we had no follow on links.

-------------------------------------------------

A closer look and it appears we aren't doing this any more. We use to have no-follow on links in the signature and I assumed posts.

Perhaps its worth turning them back on?

Hi Jamoe,

I'm in Spain for a few days and only have sketchy Internet access. I'll look into this next week if I may.

Thanks

About 6 months ago when I updated my signature with my blog it had rel="nofollow" in the tag. It no longer does, I had just assumed that posts did the same. I only noticed because of a firefox extension showing links with no follows on.

Maybe I'm mistaken, it was a while ago.

ahh I see. well, the only way that would have changed is if vbulletin took that functionality out from the standard featureset.
