So, with my final exams drawing dangerously near I've got to force myself to shift my focus more towards studying. :( That means a (highly) involuntary vacation from sim racing alltogether. Not only during the exam period, but after that I'm going to Bergen for the summer. So that means, no more sim racing for me for a couple of months at least! :crying:
It's a tough thing to do.. especially now, as I'm really starting to get into rFactor. Between rFactor and iRacing, sim racing is taking up more and more of my time. Normally I'm able to keep it in check, but lately it's become a bit of a distraction. "I'll just have a few laps before dinner..." etc. So tomorrow I'm stowing away my wheel.
I'll be back in force after summer, though.. in a moment of weakness I ordered some new sim racing hardware. More on that later. :flirty:
So now you know why you won't be seeing me on track for a while. I'll still hang around on the forums though. :)
Wise decision!
Congratulations for this determination.
Who knows...you may even get to see the VWS in LFS when you return :D
Actually I'm glad to hear that you can prioritize correctly. RL is most important. But be careful not to waste a great racing talent on some nano technology. There is a balance there somewhere. :D
I will look forward to see you on track again in a few months.

We will miss you Gnomie  Good luck with the exams and enjoy your holiday :)
To other racers, as Gnomie is always in the points, just think how many more are available. :norty:
P.S Whoever would have thought he'd buy new hardware  (and spend the summer modifying it).
Good luck with the study mate. See you back on track soon i hope.
Good luck Gnomie, it's only a small period in your life but an important one. Hope you enjoy your vacation too, have fun :D
Some things are far more important, so work at your studies and then reap the benefit later.
Thanks guys. :) Sometimes it's necessary to think through your priorities.
