OK, I think we should roll with this for keeping track as it works well and does away with bits of paper :narnar:
If you want an officers account setup, I need to know a username, password and email address and I will set these up.
Get the addon here (http://www.webdkp.com/addon) and read the instructions. Very simple to use and I can talk you through it ingame if needed. There is a sync manager within the directory, that is used for uploading the logs.
Finally, I use CT_RaidTracker (http://www.mlmods.net/en-GB/downloads/ml_raidtracker) to keep a list of who has what. Does away with the pen and paper.
Both addons get the thumbsup from me.

Later on he won a roll again T7.5 legs... He had already got loot on my list so it went to the next person. He got very crappy about it and just kept on and on .. i was just about to kick him from the raid when they dropped again. This time he was the only one to roll.
Anyway the fact is that 99% of our members are fine with loot ... its the mercs we somtimes bring in that will be more than happy to take the **** so we need this:D

So, tomorrow I will have a look at installing this on my server to see if it's useable. If so, then I'll have to see if the exe file can be modded to post to another website, or uploading logs will be a pain.
I'll be honest, in all my time in WoW I have only ever found the WebDKP site down once. And as I type, the site is up and running just fine. Not sure it is worth the trouble Gandalf as it might cause more additional work than the once in a blue moon that the site might be down. As I said, I've only ever found the website down once, and a short wait to upload the DKP solved the problem, nothing was that urgent.
Well ever since the site was sold, it's been down quite a bit. And as development has stopped (though someone is doing the in game addon, but has no access to the website) this makes me nervous as the plug could be pulled at any time.
Pretty sure that they would not just pull it, and the DKP is also held in your log file so if it disappears then you have the latest table anyway. You're the one who would need to do the work though, so it's your shout. The download listed though is a pre-release version about 19 months old. The SVN v11 is here (http://webdkp.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/) and the addon developer's site is here (http://dkptracker.com).
Well, looking at this as a backup incase the main site dissapears totally. I have it setup here; http://dkp.greenberry.co.uk
And can take a backup from the main site and upload to mine. the goal is to get it fully functional which shouldn't be too hard, and edit the uploader to point to the new site and not the webdkp one (it's hardcoded into the program but I've already decompiled it and found the variables)
ok, it's working very nicely. I've fixed the last error that I can see (not populating the class from the armoury) and posted that file on their forums for others to use too :)
Now I'm just working on the webdkp sync tool. I've changed the server upload location, now I just need to recompile the file and it 'should' be good to use :D
Once this is done, I'll turn my attention to the wow addon and see if I can sort out the whisper spam that occurs when bidding.

Zedd is back and the Sync tool is GPL, and he is going to dig out the original source too so I don't have to rely on the decompiled .exe code :D
I hope to get this done as soon as I get the source, then I'll be swapping our DKP over to our server for reliability, as the webdkp.com site is in control of a third party webhost now and not Zedd anymore :(

no probs, as soon as I have the .exe source I can re-write it to allow uploads to different websites then it'll be easy to create a site for you as I guess you all use the sync tool.

ok, first release of the new tool, once I have the source, I'll have a new build that is just the exe (I hope!) anyway, extract and run the Application Manifest (.application) file in the WebDKP Sync Tool folder. That'll start the application and you'll need to fill out the details.

just so you all know, when I ran curse client this morning (using it because I'm lazy) it said that the dkp addon got updated to 3,2. thought I give you a heads up since I doubt the synch tool works if we all have different versions of the addon.

for some reason when I clicked award item it didnt take any dkp off last night.. The pen and paper backup worked and i have updated this morning

The very latest 3.2 I found had an error in it which meant that when you award the item you got a lua error and the pop up window did not disappear, however when I checked the log it had correctly recorded the DKP deduction and the item. So at the moment I am simply awarding the item, lua error, then clicking No on the award window which successfully closes it. The log then shows the correct item & DKP deduction.
I have just downloaded the webdkp addon v3.3 .. i will need information so i can sync with you guys ..... Do you need any information from me to make this possible ?

Go to that link and download the synch addon which has been customised for us to allow us to host our own DKP rather than doing it via WebDKP's site (which is no longer owned by the author). The thread also goes through a lot of the settings needed. The addon you downloaded is fine, just set it up as per the thread, but when you synch make sure you use the custom tool which points at greenberry!

Not sure if the auto cap on dkp thu the addon is messing with attendance. I droped from 100 to 86%. i think it may be thu only getting 3 awards while everyone else got 7.

That is correct JAS. You don't get an auto award if you are above the cap. You can see another entry next to the timed award "Timed Auto Award CAP0 (http://dkp.greenberry.co.uk/webdkp/Award/3268)" that has you listed. There should be a way top pick these up as well and include in the attendance stats.
