It would be nice, and a great way to grab some headlines and cheap publicity. I don't see it happening though.

When Microsoft give things away for free its generally not great stuff. Now a significant discount is more their style.

I agree, i dont see MS giving away W7 to anyone, as your able to purchase upgrade licenses.
