In the CSS section we got two subsections for matches, the:
Matches and tactics (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=316)
&
Match availability (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=317)
Would it be an idea to move all threads from Match Availability to Matches and tactics, and then completely removing Match availability?
The idea was that all the general match chat/tactics etc went on in the "Matches and Tactics" forum and the "Match Availability" thread was only used to see who was available for the match. It seemed like a good idea at the time but if you'd rather have a single thread, it can be done. :)
Personally i disagree.
You need to ascertain availability before you make a match surely. hence why we had the availability website before. The problem is both these topics have had topics merged or topics being posted in the wrong sections.
I'd prefer a match based sub forum for all the community match players as that would be easy to navigate and would be all in one place instead of negotiating each game sub forum each time.
Perhaps they would be easier to post to and clearer to understand if they were called:
Matches and Match Availability (for organising matches and recording results)
&
Match Tactics (for analysing and discussing tactics and things that might have gone wrong/right)
I see your point but why can't we have a sub section built liek the old charlie section.
This would make it alot easier for match players and everything would be in one place. Yes there are shortcuts to each section on the main page but surely then we'd get more match input. On the flipside i suppose those who want to play in our match sides have probably found the section already.

My point was that the current Match Availability section has never really been used for what it should..
i has like 5 posts of old matches...
maybe its just cause i really do dislike the availability name, as i dont really see the point it stating availability..

Ghosty, I think the separate match thread under each game is better. It also makes the permissions a whole lot easier to manage if they're separate as it's linked directly to the green badges. You need different parent and child forums with the different permissions.... that's how I understand it anyway.
As Whitey doesn't mind about the structure then lets leave it to the match arrangers and section Moderators to decide what and how they want it to look. So long as everyone knows what's supposed to be posted where then happy days.
Once you've decided let me know and I'll rejig the forum structure accordingly.
