Title: Question About Sprays Not Visible

If you are running in D3D instead of OpenGL then you oftne will not see spray logos and bullet impact marks etc. This happened to Sadako and I some while back, eventually Sadako noticed it and a quick change i the config set us to run in OpenGL and all has been fine ever since. Worth diving into your CS set up and checking that you *are* running in OpenGL.

Don't worry - I travel :D
Go into CS: Configuration/Video/Modes and you will find the option for OpenGL in there. TL.

Changed it but still can't see sprays. Could have something to do with the models I have? I got new models a while ago, after that I couldn't see sprays anymore.

Well it is worth a try to restore the old models - you have a copy of the old install don't you? Oldie taught me a trick many moons ago (they were not a pretty sight I can tell you) - always create a copy of your working cstrike folder and call it cstrike-good or something similar. That way if anything ever borks your CS install you just delete the cstrike folder and rename the cstrike-good foler to cstrike - and you're back up and running again.
Otherwise the best advice is to do a quick reinstall, it doesn't take that long if you have saved all the various udates along the way...... sorry not to be of more help :( TL.

DuVeL, check for a file called config.cfg in your HL/CS directory, open it in notepad, and add the three lines that Slowhand said. That should sort it.
