Title: BC Raids
Post by: Bellanie on June 03, 2009, 08:50:31 AM
Hi all

What would be the chances of setting up a BC raid night in a few weeks, doing somthing like Sunwell, Black Temple or even MT. Hyjal? was thinking about it last night, surly the gear we have now and the dps we should be able to clear them with no problems. As long some one knows the tatics which i will say now i do not:( apart from Kara. reason i am bringing this up is beacuse i would love the have the Achivement for them and get the outlands achivement for all the raids:)

I'll put something up on the calendar on an offday say... 2 weeks from now or something, so people have the time to notice it. I for one would love to see BT/Hyjal/SWP and I'm positive we can walsh right through them.

^^
I know most of the tactics for BT/MH/SWP, but been a while since I last worked through the back end of SWP, will help where I can

Generally speaking the more the merrier, make sure you use the wow ingame calendar & sign up.  If your name is not there get ahold of one of the officers & ask to be added!!:D

It's a guild event so your name won't appear unless you sign up for it yourself.

The normal guild runs are setup slightly differently.

Yeah me and Blizzard collectively messed up the system that night xD

Was good fun, got me a few souvenirs that I always wanted (a bit too many, rolled greed on both chestplates in the end and actually won em both too, woops! xD). But was good fun =) See if we can do SWP friday?

I should be around Friday evening, so hopefully can attend any raid going that night. I cleared almost all of SWP pre-nerf /flex lol But seriousy I know most of the tactics, although we can cheat on a lot of the stuff with our big health pools and higher dps :)

Post by: Azunai on June 19, 2009, 11:06:25 AM
SWP is probably a tad harder than BT, but BT was a joke. Anything we could just dps down without position/tactics or w/e. Lost some people left and right to that Mother Shahraz thing and we wiped once on the council, but everything else went down smooth.

Lets just hope Bay can explain his Brutallus tactics better than he did to the Union

"So if you get the fire you run away from the group"

"Sarcofago get out of the group!" i think it was :roflmao: tanking ftw =/

Was pretty comical Jim, think about 20% of the raid listened to me ^^
Brutallus should be a lot easier now, no more 2 shotting tanks :) The burn will not be taking 80% of somebodies health off with each tick if the slash debuff is applied to them lol.
Anyway this is the Brutallus tactic I used with BTDT: http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=344&sid=hiy9jINmnu

Note that the tactic is pre-nerf, so he has 30% less health and doesn't hit as hard anymore. Was the ultimate dps race in TBC, 10 mil health in 6 mins was a big ask lol.

Next will be 'Felmyst', I think that should be easy as we can nuke the skellies easily, but might still have to follow the ground phase rules, and the air phase MC cloud could be an interesting twist!: http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=358&sid=hiy9jINmnu   : check out Phase 2 (Dust Areas) anybody want the job of calling north/south?

Eredar Twins( AKA 'The Ledge boss' ): http://www.bosskillers.com/cgi-bin/bbguild/index.cgi?action=view_guide&guide_id=370&sid=hiy9jINmnu
I don't entirely agree with the  raid/boss positioning, but the pvp trinket is very useful and was needed at lvl 70 (everyman obv works too)

I'l not bother posting other fights, just look at them on Bosskillers or a similar site, the phases and abilities are all that matter, positioning we can play with as it does not have to be as strict at lvl 80 ^^
