Don't know if anyone here is a fan but if you can get hold of a copy of "On The Beach" which has just been remastered and rereleased. Fantastic stuff :)
His other new album "Greendale" is also great - an entire album about the events in a fictional American town called, unsurprisingly, "Greendale"
Neil Young
You're a disgrace to your generation.......go and listen to Coldplay immediately !
Not a fan of coldplay or radiohead or any of these other whiney misery bags bands that play music nowadays.
Millions of dollars in the bank, engaged to hollywood royalty, and a legion of adoring fans - yet the songs are dull as dishwater. Some people are never satisfied
But you're a yoof, and that's what you have to listen to I'm afraid. It's the rules.
As soon as you hit 40 and start wearing comfy brown cords and slippers that have a picture of Homer Simpson on them saying "I work for Duff Beer" - THEN you can start listening to Neil Young.
You'll also be able to enjoy the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Sting and anything calling itself "Progressive Rock". You may also want to kill yourelf about now too, as life will have lost all meaning. :(
Ahhh so thats your excuse then!!
/me sniggers!

Strange that......my grannie used to listen to him!! :eyebrow: :nevermind:
Yep I also hear he collaborated with Shakespeare on some of the incidental music for Twelth Night.
He's supposedly buried somewhere in South London, but the exact details of his burial site were lost in the great fire of London :(

Sorry, but there is no way I could ever enjoy the rolling stones. Their "music" does absolutely nothing for me.
Chimpy boy RESPECT to U
Neil Young is a master .. fantastic musician .. and a great songwriter to boot.
Rolling Stones should be shot for treason against the monarchy ... fkn tax exiles
