I think this one is broken. I don't believe the logs work properly when we are on vehicles as I was definately doing damage but that log has me down as 0

And if you look at his death. Apparently we killed him while only doing 817K damage when he has 105M health :roflmao:

The kill has bumped you up a chunk in the rankings.  DMR are now Realm 26th in the Hard Mode rankings on the .xsa website and on the wowprogress site:

The rank number is all nice and sweet, but any sane person looks a bit further than that and sees just which achievement we have, and will know that, relatively speaking, it's a very easy one. Now we can say that people are 'dumb' enough that they will only look at how far up the list we are, but it's not those people we want for recruitment is it?

Anyway, nice achievement naturally, and a good job by all, but I don't see a huge difference between bottom of the list, and a little less bottom of the list. What I'm relatively more worried about concerning our reputation is that we've only killed 3 bosses over the course of the nearly 2 months that Ulduar's been up so far. I'm not criticizing the pace or anything, I mean we all know that we've just not been able to go there due to lack of numbers, but I would say that plays a far bigger part than the achievements, wether Armitage chooses to rank according to those or not. I for one when judging a guild I want to join, would look at the ammount of bosses they floored rather than in what manner they floored them.

I find it a bit lame he ranks achievements so highly. While they're a good part of the end game now, it's not like the boss killing itself has become trivial. If we hadn't done the achievement on FL we'd still be on 0 points, while we did kill 3 bosses and, apart from a small mention lower down that we killed a boss, got virtually no credit for it.

I think the issue is not that anyone ranks achievements so highly, it is simply that it is not practical to maintain a boss kill-related progress list when so many bosses are optional.

What you should remember though are that normal boss kills are recognised in the achievement list anyway:

The Descent Into Madness (Kill General Vezax and Yogg-Saron)
The Keepers of Ulduar (Kill Hodir, Thorim, Freya and Mimiron)
The Anterchamber of Ulduar (Kill Kologarn, Auriaya and Assembly of Iron)
The Siege of Ulduar (Kill Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Ignis the Furnace Master and XT-002 Deconstructor)

Get these boss kills and you get the credit on the achievement list.

Well if normal are recognised then we already have;

The Keepers of Ulduar (Kill Hodir, Thorim, Freya and Mimiron)
The Anterchamber of Ulduar (Kill Kologarn, Auriaya and Assembly of Iron)
The Siege of Ulduar (Kill Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Ignis the Furnace Master and XT-002 Deconstructor)

.xsa differentiates between 10man and 25man though, so for 25man progress we're still at 1 point, the FL+1 achievement. TL makes a valid point that at least 2 more achievements are well within our reach and 'only' require us to kill some bosses in a normal fashion, namely The Siege/The Antechamber of Ulduar. These two achievements would discern us from the rest a bit more I think, precisely because they indicate that we've killed X ammount of bosses.

I agree that all the optional bosses and different trajectories one can take through Ulduar makes it difficult to keep track in a linear fashion, but it should be easy enough to at least keep track of the total number of bosses killed, because that number says alot I think. In the old days this number used to be behind the bosses that were currently being fought by said guild.

can we not crack on with these then on next reset?  if we need acheivements for recruitment, lets get them, once we done it we can skip them every other time, and get the progression we really want

And Naxx is **** easy now, full clear in under 3 hours!!!!

With summer fast approaching i dont think this is a bad idea.... We need some peeps to carry us through 25 man through the summer season, i personally have no problem with having to do 10 man instead, cause we're sooo close (unless you did it while i havnt been playing) to Soggy Yoggy
