I and one or two others here have Killing Floor (see here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=27366))
I've played it a little and I liked it - just not enough time and perhaps dMw'ers playing it to play more.
Got and played killing floor, its ok but i can't see any longtivity unless you play online as the single player is an afterthought.
Prototype didn't get a high score in pc zone although neither did, weapons of fate and dark sector.
Not sure what to suggest but the in game footage looks good but so did damnation and that was reviewed as being poor too :S
A friend of mine got it and said it was a disappointment, and I trust his opinion when it comes to games. However I've not seen it myself. All I can say if from the trailers it didn't look worth £35. Maybe for £15 or so I'll check it out.
I brought Prototype for my 360, its ok, not really had a chance to play it too much, but I wouldn't say it's worth upgrading your pc just to play.
Any1 played Prototype yet? and if so what do you think? :)
Am somewhat wondering my self, heard some mixed reports about it. The critics and the movies are all over the board too, so i too would appreciate what players think of the game :)
It's alright, it'd not the deepest of games, if your after a game you can stick on for a bit, run/jump/glide round New York & blow up & kill a lot of stuff then it's a good choice.
The morphing stuff is pretty extensive, other than that I wasn't very impressed with it tbh.
Had too much of a been there, that feel about it. Really if I ever have to play a free roaming game in New York again I'll go batshitcrazy.
So looks like another game that looks good that isnt? Any others taken the plunge yet?
