Simply the best :yahoo: Well done Rossi & Lorenzo :boxing:
250 cc race also exiciting, when the guy who 'won' it was told he had one more lap to do :roflmao: Give him his due, having dropped to 5th he moved to 3rd on what remained of the final lap :) Final 3 laps was also stunning.

Great last few laps.
Rossi finally has a fight on his hands... Lorenzo didn't take well to losing on the last corner but nice to see the good boys shake and hug on the podium.

Gonna be a hot year guys all level pegging. :D
Im not sure why but all the locals have questioned me about this 250 race thing too? It was the 125's that Lame and my local buddies are talking about. I even agreed with Bob on vent earlier about it but was most definitley the little fella's. Odd!
I assume that you didnt see it all Bob, as Julian Simone did not get 3rd either. Officials said that Gadea was 0.001 in front of Simone and turfed him out of the winners enclosure. You have to feel sorry for Simone really as he is a nice chap.

As for the GOAT,  (Greatest Of All Time), what a masterclass. This is why i support and wear the number 46. Show me a better racer in any sport and i'll, i'll, i'll, i dont know what! After 13 years of racing he still finds a spot to overtake that hasn't been done before by anyone.  Fair play to Lorenzo though, he made it hard work for Rossi and he will again im sure. Game on.

Cheers for starting the thread Oldy, i was going to but i knew i would just  ramble on about it all. Now i can blame you:D

'Twas indeed the 125's. The 250 was won by Bautista from Aoyama in almost an equally exciting duel.:D
I presumed Simon was 3rd as he was in the official 3rd spot at the press conference :g:

The vid with the English commentary is no longer available due to copyrights of Dorna Sports

Youtube is seriously beginning to annoy me with this crap. I know it's not really their fault but come on... might as well take the whole site offline then

Another win for the mighty 46, albeit by 0.099 of a second.:yahoo:

Heres the weekend in about 2 min's. Keep an eye out for Nicky Hayden landing on Canepa in the wet quali(25 sec's). Both were ok and rode on Sunday.

The old Rossie is definately back, he's always been able to get in there and win on an even field, but Lorenzo is doing him the world of good by replacing the old Gibernau battles and he pulls off those physics defying manouvers to dazzling effect.

And he did the old trick of waiting until the end of the qualifying session to destroy the poll time.

You could see the way he was riding that he was saving his tyres for a push in the last 3 or 4 laps, so when Lorenzo passed him and the BBC comentators went on about his tyres being worn out you had to giggle at their stupid comments.

Nice to see the Honda boys have sorted the engines out as well and Pedrosa is able to put in a race again.

Donnington GP next week.

It seems Mr Stoner has a note from the doc'. He is going to bunk off the next three races and get better so the site says today.:dummy:

Thats definitley earned me another pint. Those anti Rossi types in the pub should know after all this time that a bet against the Goat is not a good bet      :roflmao:

How nice to see the correct, if antiquated, spelling of 'pole'. :D
How many know that the expression poll position came from horse racing? The poll is the point on a horses head just behind the ears and if a horse is standing correctly, the highest point. Thus it became named for the horse drawn in the most favourable position for the start. :learn:

Thought you'd like to know. :getmecoat:

No, just a lot of time and money spent on horses. That is to say stabling, feeding and shoeing them. Not betting on them.

I couldn't of said it any better myself:yahoo:. Some fantastic racing in all three races and some typical Rossi fun aswell. What other sport would see the world champion receiving a winning trophy with a pair of giant donkey ears on his head?:lmfao:
