I swear by my logitech mx518 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0015R8M7U?ie=UTF8&redirect=true&tag=coffeeuk12312-21) and my fatality gaming headset (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000P5VR16?ie=UTF8&tag=smellycar-21&gclid=CPmWpMXRl5sCFZ4U4wodATqKpg), ive had many over the years and i find these the best.

I agree with DA on the MX518, for the rest I have a Sennheiser headset, I think it's a PC150 (got it over a year now).

As an extra I have a Nostromo52te.

I use the Razer Lachesis. It was the highest resolution mouse for a while, but they've brought out a new wireless one that's better but the price tag is large. Anyway, the Lachesis is very sensitive (4000dpi), have buttons to scroll through profiles on the fly.
I'd reccomend any of the Razer after using the Deathadder that's just as good, even though it's optical not laser the dpi is still above average (2000).

I have used a basic two button intellimouse for years.

Regarding headsets have a look at the headsets sticky somewhere on the forums i think its at the top of the technology section. That topic explains what most dmw'ers have bought and there feedback on lifespan etc.

I use a Logitech G9 which has been amazing.  Also use a creative HS 400 for mic and some Sennheiser HD595 for sound.

I can't use my Lachesis as it keeps jumping about, so does a normal mouse i'm using at the moment too. Think I need a decent mouse mat! Some people do find the Lachesis can be uncomfortable too but I got use to it.
