Khrispykchicken has been asking when he will be getting his dMt / dMw tag, he has been on the server for over a good 2 months and plays by dMw's ethos etc.
I'm sure Armitage will comment on this when he's next online. I think I've only played online with him once or twice so can't vouch for him myself.
If any admins have any comments/thoughts about it then it can't hurt to air them.

as snokio mentioned, he has been quite active on our server lately and seems to be a team player from what i've noticed

Delankster, I think my point was that Khrispy had not come to Snokio's attention to be tagged, he asked for it himself. That was what I was trying to point out. We should be looking for good people and grabbing them, if they do not stick out as worth being grabbed are they the people you want to wear a dMw tag?
I'm not commenting on the individual in question as I do not know the chap, I am just playing devil's advocate and asking the question: if he is that good why was he not promoted by us instead of him having to ask us for it?

Khrispykchicken is a good team player and uses voice comms (not as much as i'd like but not many people do). He's currently on a trial with CS and the only reason he hasn't been promoted is that he's not been active enough. From what I've seen of him playing CoD4, I think he deserves a trial. :2cents:

Can I play devils advocates advocate. From the view times I've been on CoD4 recently nobody really uses VC (unless you're down to the last 2 on a bomb map). The games are completely driven by looking around and timing any assault with those around you based on 'if they are there or not'. So that said, he plays no differently from anyone else.
So VC isn't really a decider for me on that game. Personally I like the fella, he seems like a good guy, been around for a while, always part of the social banter and doesn't play like a twat. So he gets my backing. He could post a bit more, but some people just don't so that's no real negative..

He seemed ok to me too, apart from the silly name.

The Chicken nearly always turns up when invited and is always pleasant and sociable. He uses comms in CS much more than in CoD (Don't we all?) and is helpful to newbies. He has brought a chum or 2 to Boomer once or twice and has ensured that they obey the server rules.

Just bumping this to bring it back to mind.
I know he's only been on trial for a couple of months but looks good to me.
Ive played with him quite a lot over the last couple of months and I'd endorse him and am sure several others would as well.
He plays regularly, is a team player plus he's good natured and imo an asset. Whitey's comments about VC's may be right but really in CoD so few people do use them I don't think it's a reason not too.
Anyway I know it's not my call so am bumping this for those who it is to review in due course :)

I've dropped Armitage a PM so we're on it.
A good player and he uses VC's.
BTW, I do use my VC's to warn people to let them know where I got shot from.
And also for the airstrikes and such offcourse.
