When I'm climbing I like that the shoes curl your toes round and the shoe is an inflexible base. It helps the foot act as a hook. I'm sure the individual toes help sometimes, but I think my big toe would get tired.

What if you have more or less than 5 toes on each foot? :g:

I use a less rigid sole and a rounded toe as it suits the slabs round here.
These look more suitable as an approach shoe, for scrambling.
I would like to try a pair before I buy, but I would definitely consider them.

They do them in a local shop and I keep meaning to go in and try some. I think they're hoopy.

I doubt that shop will survive much longer, it's never what you would call busy and it's all good kit.

If you have more find someone with less and chop the extra off and pass them on, simples!

Hm they are good ideas I guess! Think I'd prefer the custom option personally. :narnar:

NB: I have a perfectly normal amount of toes per foot.

It's the fingers you have growing out of them that's the problem.

What's more, these ones will go with those lovely brightly coloured trousers you love wearing.

Can I justify Ã,£100 on a pair of shoes! :g:

I wonder if I could wear them to work?

Yeah you can justify it. Also if you need them to look "posh" some boot polish and you can wear them right into work. Very practical.
