Despite giving Virgin Media about a month - the disconnection date is today but the reconnection date is FIVE days time! :(
No Internet, no phone, no TV (at home). How am I going to cope? Real life? :D

Think you just have to make sure you have lots of offline-playable games ready on your computer to last a full five days :flirty:
Good luck with the move mate, hope all goes well :)
Always good with a few days off from the addition
Lets rearrange the internet so he can't find anything when he comes back.
go on holiday to your neighbours house and steal their computer for 5 days :)

Not if he has to activate them over the interweb :)
Go read a book
Set steam to offline mode so you can still play stuff.
I rang virgin media to give them 30 days notice the other week and got cut off 2 days later. I rang up they said in 24 hours they'll have fixed it and was offline for 3 days. I know your pain. I actually started leaving the house and talking to my housemates. It was terrible.
Lol T-bag.
At least you can appreciate other things for a bit. :narnar:
Don't know how long this will last but I have Internet at the new place! :yahoo:
I don't know if this is the last tenants' connection or mine connected early but hey ho I'm not complaining.
I don't have TV or phone though - can't have everything!
Jabbs out

Phone? people still use landlines? It's so primitive you can't even txt, and most of the handsets don't even have colour screens.

I had one at my old house as broadband was about Ã,£10 cheaper if I had it as part of a deal. (20mb + Phoneline = Ã,£30, with about Ã,£40). With my mobile it's cheaper to use my minutes rather than landline. If you ring them up asking to quite they might give you a tasty deal. They like having you take out multiple services because when they "bundle" things you can't directly compare prices.
Back! :D
Well, I survived the long and desolate road that is a life without the Internet - survived for five days! hehehe

Please, thou great explorer, tell us humble mortals the marvellous tale of thy adventure and how you conquered these seemingly impossible challenges!
Quick purge the forum of the threads we started about how nice it's been the past five days so his feelings aren't hurt.
Welcome back. To us it seemed like 5 days but to you I'm sure it went far slower.
