I can't stop grinning now :P
thnx, always nice to begin a weekend with laughter :D
Apparently it's not the 'real' mint as this one is for London whereas the real one is in Wales. It's best to hang on to the 20ps or sell them on eBay where some people are getting over Ã,£100. :narnar:

I can believe that. they'll become a real collectors piece and in many years time will be highly sought after by coin buffs. Def hang onto them if you have any. Stick in a frame with a print out of the website and put in the attic. :D
Hmm seems my previous message was posted here instaid of the topic about that one-liner comedian, can't edit or delete it, so i'm just gonna set it straight like this :)
For the topic:
Don't give them back! if they pay 50 pounds allready now, they will increase in value a lot more!
i HEARD from somewhere that someone got Ã,£7000 for one. but seeing this, i doubt it lol
I'm still trying to find out what to do with a misprinted Ã,£5 note I have.
A strip of the hologram is missing but the print that is printed over it is present, somehow it made it through quality control.

Ebay ftw! Put a massive reserve on it. there is nothing on google about misprinted Ã,£5 only misprinted 5$
Or talk to the royal mint:g:
