Actually, I have been missing that. On several sites I can not do ctrl+t to get a tab, but have to go to the file menu. Some sites it helps to click on the page-window to bring focus to the right spot, but not all sites respond to this fix. So a nice addition imho.

It's a step in the right direction but it is still too slow to boot etc. I made the switch to Chrome today. It lacks some features that I'll miss (mostly stumble upon) but it's so fast both to boot and browse it's worth it for me.

Load the two side by side and you'll see. It might not be enough to justify loosing extensions for some of you, but it is faster. Also I transferred my bookmarks completely painlessly using the bookmark export and import features of the two browsers.
