I've been saying for years that literally the best publisher they could sign up would be Lucasarts (though things like ID and EA haven't hurt). This is great news. When they bring a selection of better games there are so many that I want to pick up. The "new" Monkey Island is one.
Classics like Tie-Fighter, Grim Fandango, Sam and Max hit the road, Jedi Academy, Dark Forces. However the best game I think the ever did was the Curse of Monkey Island. 2D with great graphics, great voice acting and story, exactly what I want from a point and click adventure. (Though Grim Fandango showed that 3D adventures could still work very well)

Second that! My definite favourite amongst the Lucas Arts games. I hope (and don't find it too unlikely to be honest), that they all will come in due time :)

I have them running on ScummVM (http://www.scummvm.org/).

Still got the full boxed versions of "Full Throttle" and "Day of the Tentacle", I just copied the directory structure off the CD's and configured them to ScummVM (http://www.scummvm.org/).

I keep wondering about getting the Amiga out and rescuing a few Scumm based games (http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Category:SCUMM_Games) off there.
