Ye p1 is running smooth, but p2 still needs a bit of work to be smooth :)
P1 used to be the hardest phase before it got nerfed and they removed the MCs from that element of the fight. Now the hardest part and the key to the fight is P2, getting a fast efficient portal group to get down the portal tentacles asap and leave as much time on the brain as possible. With practice you get used to the rooms, the best paths to take, how to avoid losing sanity in the process and then leave yourself at least 30 seconds brain time before having to leave the brain room.
P3 is relatively easy as you probably found. We stack healers at the top of the slope (towards the outer edge fo the room) in one group - as the adds spawn they always aggro on the healers. We position tanks midway between brain and the healers, they taunt the adds as they spawn and then bring them closer to the brain for killing. We stack dps by the brain so that they have the brain immediately behind them (aoe hits both brain and add) and the add in front of them. In 25 man we assign 5 people to dps the boss, the rest keep adds under control. Then it's a case of tank & spank until Yogg is dead.
Usually you will get the kill very quickly once you start getting clean entries into P3.
One tip for the P2 to P3 transition, if you are ahead on the insanity timer in the brain room you can slow/stop dps to delay the start of P3 until just before the end of the insanity timer, this gives the live-side more time to clear the remaining tentacles before the last phase starts. We trigger P3 with 3 seconds left on the insanity timer and usually come out to a clear room. Be warned, Blizzard's coding sucks and if you trigger P3 in the last 1-2 seconds of the timer then you stand a good chance of the entire portal group becoming MC'd because Blizz can't code a timer properly.
Sounds like you got a kill there for you tonight though - awesome!

Is it worth postioning P3 healers facing the wall at all times? Cause you don't need to face your healing targets do you? Avoids them getting hit by the Yogg thing :)

aye - i was facing away from Yogg the whole time (apart from when penance pulled me away) as it avoids lunatic gaze
Yes, healers face away the whole of P3 and don't have to move at all.

Finally! I was afraid to be forced to reroll to play my class a bit.
