Post by: sulky_uk on July 26, 2009, 02:32:39 PM
ok if you wanna have a go at this then you need to download and install this

http://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/?fshostclient.html

you then need to connect to the server which i am running from my home rig  is up and running now till 1600bst... just to see if you can get in

once installed run the program , but dont do anything
then start fsx and put into free fly, just the default flight will do
click alt and you should see addons at the end next to options etc
click on it, then fsclient and then multiplayer connect and then use these details

player name
...... whatever you want to be called mine is dMf_sulky

ip address

86.135.31.201

connect port 23455 ( use this as fsx uses 23456)

password

dmwgame

then click search ip for sessions

then connect, go back to fsx and you are in multiplayer

see you there also dont forget ts is up and running as well channel is at the bottom

you will need to select the airport you want to meet at and fly from there, just for now im at innsbruck, and go to time/season and select day

Don't get disheartened if nobody was around to join, an 8 hour window on a Sunday afternoon probably isn't the best way to judge appeal.

Also, do people have to use default planes meshes or would you just see an invisible planes ident crash into nothing (or not see it, you know what I mean).

I expect you are running FSX, Deluxe and Accelerator packs, with loads of payware planes.

Oh, here's a free Cessna 152 from JustFlight (http://www.justflight.com/microsoftc152.asp) if anyone wants one.
