Hey guys,
After few weeks with bad connection, but still playable game, today I logged in totally broken connection. I have 10-15 seconds good latency than 10-15 lag spike when everything is frozen and sometimes DC at this point. Doesnt matter if this is bank alt in SW or main in Dala. I checked Blizz forum, and seems like we are army of who got similiar problems :(:(:( Im just letting you know because I signed for raids few weeks ahead, but with such bad server connection WoW is unplayable here (what a nice gift from Blizz for my 3 weeks holiday now:(.
Anyway, hope Blizz going to do something with that soon.

Is it the same with no addons loaded? If it is only with addons loaded that you get spikes then dump a list of the addons you use into this thread and let's see if we can help.

I was about to remove addons, but... when was filling up report post on Blizz forum, found question about trying 3 other realms. And 1 of them (Karazhan) works well! So with addons loaded I had proper connection, only thing changed was realm (so i hit server in other physical place or connected to other network or running on other hardware). Anyway, I'll try later again, if nothing changes, ill try no addons, call my ISP, and so on... :P
Unfortunatelly waiting for Blizz to do something means I can wait till Xmass.
Edit: Only addon I changed (yesterday evening) was update for DrDamage. But on test toon on Karazhan it worked ok.
So... 11 a.m.
I removed all addons and user folders, run game on few different toons. Surprise: all seems ok.
Hmm addons? Well lets try them back than. All ok too. Hmmm???
Will see later again. I think there are 2 possibilities: connection to Aszune fixed or creating user files again + putting addons back helped.
Hopefully its going to be ok now.

Out of interest, post the list of addons from the Addon folder so we can take a peek? There are some lag spike culprits out there atm, Cartographer being a very common one at its current iteration.

These are the ones I know use a chunk of memory and CPU.
If I am raiding I turn off QH, LH & Auctioneer.
I do not run MobMapDatabase or the Prat-HighCPU module, but they would both contribute to the problem.
Cartographer I used to use all the time, I turned it off as it was giving me lag spikes of up to 10 seconds or so. When it got turned off the problems went away.

I do not use QH, Prat High CPU modules on Deeathy.
So now im going to turn off Cartographer, MobMap and Lightheaded to see if i can get back to around 100ms from 180-250 where I am recently.
Let you know, if there is any better :)

I do the same too, especially MetaMap, Auctioneer, Atlasloot and Questhelper, as those all contains "huge" databases that needs to be looked up in every time you hover over loot/mobs/etc. Just a huge perfomance sink, which I really cant afford with my current rig.
