Perhaps hastily arranged to pacify the Angry Internet Menâ„¢ who aren't too chuffed about L4D2, but you can't whinge about getting free stuff :)
Good news, though I was expecting this. Valve are very aware of the anger aimed at the right now. I'd expect another release shortly after the L4D 2 launch and then another dry spell.
That said I'm glad it's coming. And a proper campaign type level (2/3 length at least) is much more what I'm after than survival.

yeah i know im not gonna get it simpley cos you have to pay for it
apparently its $7's worth of points no clue what that is in Ã,£
4.10 or 4.15, dunno, atleast a lil over 4 pounds.
The reason they have to pay, is cuz they have such a cheap console to play them on, we have a pc that costs at least 3 times as much.
Kidding, it's stupid that they are going to charge the xbox players, on the other hand, I couldn't care less, as I'm a pc player and I'm glad they don't charge us ;)
Microsoft don't let developers put free content out over Xbox Live, presumably so that they can take some sort of cut of whatever is bought.
Valve were having massive arguments with them in the past over the TF2 updates, they wanted to put them out over Xbox live for free (as they are on the PC) but Microsoft weren't willing to let them. Not sure if they ever got that sorted out in the end...
Basicly, consoles suck :D
