Administrative error on their part. All sorted and I've booked you a double room :). Confirmation to come to your Dumfries address.

We already thought of that and those daily visitors and those not requiring a seat have NOT been included in the allocated seating (listed at the bottom under daytrippers) so there's no leverage there I'm afraid.
Jabbs. Historically, the LAN was always pretty much maxed out. It's only in the last few years that numbers have dropped on occasion with people either not turning up for it falling at a bad time.

To those of you that have booked. Please please please ensure that you tell us as soon as possible if you're not going to come to make way for other people that may want in.
If you don't show up having denied other people a place then we'll curse you from here to eternity and will bar you from booking your place at future LANs (making you join the back of the queue).
I've had a phone call from the Oliver Cromwell Hotel.
They are going to release the rest of the reserved rooms so if you haven't already booked your room please do so ASAP else you run the risk of not being able to stay on site.

I also won't be able to go to next years April Lan because its two weeks before my stag and a month before my Wedding :)

I've had a show dumped on me which runs until the Saturday so I'll not be able to make it.
It's really distressing and I'm really gutted but work has to come first.

Well in the absence of a gaming name I guess her real name will have to suffice, which is Steph.
The presence of a swimming pool has already prompted a shopping trip for a new swimming cozzie at some point this week. If it ends there I'll be doing well... :rolleyes:
I guess I'll also need to call the hotel and see what kind of meal they can sort out for the non-animal-or-animal-product eating types. Unless anyone has prior experience of this?

BTW - Ask Laura at the Hotel if you can have room 10. It's larger than the standard rooms and has a nice four poster bed. Explain that your missus will be coming and I'm sure they'll do what they can. They normally give me that room so it may well be free.
Also bear in mind that you can order breakfast in your room (free) which is quite nice and means you/she don't have to rush down to breakfast - they'll also order newspapers etc.
If there's anything else I can help with to make the whole thing slightly more bearable for her then let me know :lmfao::flirty:

I do eat fish which makes my choices somewhat wider. However I don't think she'll have too much trouble as the veggie food is pretty decent.

Aslong as its reasonably priced i am in.
Regarding the curry the quality and service has got worse in there both portions and respect for their customers
I won't be going back simply because when the food arrives you need to order yet more because it takes 40-50mins for it to actually be put in front of you.
The cromwell provides the same price food and excellent portions with quicker and much friendlier service which is why i will more than likely go for a la carte both nights
I've also asked them to put on their set menu for both nights.
For c.Ã,£21 for three courses (including steak night) and a glass of wine or a pint it was pretty cracking value imho. :thumbsup2:
was very good value, but quite like the idea of a curry on sat :dribble:

Actually I think it must of cos I heard someone talking about it the other night and they said the food was fine but the premises has no alcohol license anymore so NO BEER !!!!! :doh:
