Re a previous post by Smilo..................a real CLASSIC, and absolute no brainer, and for me, NOT the Director's cut, but the original with voiceover.....although I love (and have them both!)

2+2=4
day comes after night
Bladerunner is the finest Sci-fi movie ever made.....
some things are just self evident, but it's nice to be proved right :norty:
i didnt really like bladerunner.... dont hurt me *cower*
Ha! Burn him
We should have a late night screening at the LAN on Tealeafs MEGA monitor for the non-believers
Great idea. Except we'd just argue about whether we watch it with or without the voice-over !

why not put the poll function here to some good use? remember to include ALL versions though

Or there's a screen so all we'd need is a projector :norty:
I have one I can bring!
There's quite a few versions out there but the basic choice would be
1. The International Theatrical Release. With voice over and revised ending.
2. The Ridley Scott-approved Director's Cut. Without voice over or revised ending.
3. Ridley Scott's Final Cut. Without voice over or revised ending plus additional scenes and reworked CGI sequences.
In my mind the third version should be the one as I (humbly) consider it to be the definitive film. Mainly as it's the only version where Ridley Scott had complete control and we're not watching a hybrid of his film and something the studio producers wanted to release.
The original voice over is intolerable. I can't believe some people prefer it.
Anybody who thinks the original version is better than Ridley's cut, should be encased inside an iron ball and fired into the sun.

........but potentially the one for the "purists" and without mass appeal??.

Being a fan of the Marlow movies and Moonlighting I like the reassurance that some dumb girlfriend will not be asking b****y questions all the way through because she doesn't have the patience to watch the movie and figure it out herself.......
......completely ruined Sixth Sense for me at the movies after I had got it quickly....."but what exactly do you know?", "what makes you think that's right?", "just when did he die then?", "he can't be a ghost he isn't walking through walls!".........WOMEN!!:taz:

I think the encasing might have the desired effect so why waste money on the cannon?:D
Besides, both movies have Daryl Hannah in so I'm not complaining:woot2:

And the sound?
I nominate Ninja to do the dubbing.
One bloody weekend a year and you want me to sit and watch a movie with you. Shall we get popcorn and make out in the back row?
What's wrong with drinking warm white wine out of a coke can and throwing up on my shoes?
Oh, and on topic, my favorite related trivia.

We're not actually serious about watching films at the LAN.... are we ?
