I watched this yesterday and would recommend it. Its directed by Alan Parker and is gripping. You can find more info here. (http://www.thelifeofdavidgale.com/)

Anyone else seen it?

I have seen it and I enjoyed it. Although I think it doesn't take a clear stand against the death penalty as "Dead Man Walking" with Sean Penn did. However it is a good movie.

Saw this last night, and thoroughly recommend it.  Even though Parker's own stance is anti-capital punishment, he's attempted to make a film that is even-handed regarding its treatment of the subject.  It probably won't change your mindset if you firmly sit in either camp, but does force you to re-examine your thinking on the subject.  Oh, and it also happens to be a very well-acted thriller.

Definitely worth a trip to Blockbuster for
