Whether we like it or not (and that aint a close vote) we are now a 1.6 clan. <_<
We will only be playing 1.6 matches from now on.
We have no matches planned at the moment while we do our best to get all members up and running with 1.6. Many people are posting help and advice in these forums. If you are struggling with the install then speak up.
Please make sure that you are aware of the following criteria for team selection.
1. CS 1.6 installed and tested in a live server.
2. CS 1.6 buyscripts installed and tested.
3. Working voice comms.
4. IRC client tested and working to #deadmen
5. Fully registered on competition website e.g. Enemy Down
If you cannot fulfill all three items then please do not make yourself available for matches.
The inclusion of new weapons and the shield will undoubtedly mean that our tactics will have to be revisited.
It would help the Squad Leaders if all members post a reply to this topic with your current 1.6 situation. Use the edit function to keep your post current.
Good luck to all.

If you haven't got a buy script then you have to sit on the touchline with the wheezy kids that have a note from Matron :)
/me quickly deletes his slanderous posts about Duvel, a sheep, a skunk, a barrel and some tarmac.

2. Haven't got one yet.
Have a look here (http://forum.deadmen.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=2776&view=findpost&p=28627) for some buyscripts. may be worth having a quick glance through whole thread but if you are beyond the basics then you'll be up and running in no time :)

Then I would like to know the joke about me. I haven't got a clue what tarmac is. Is that the stuff they put on would to make it last longer?
and Smilodon, I know, I'm going to look it all up this weekend.

It's actually really easy to set up in 1.6. Personally I'd go for Rze's script as it has an .exe installer.
As for JB's joke....tarmac is the stuff they make roads out of. And it doesn't make any sense to me either :D
Well the sheep goes over the barrel, which rolls on the tarmac as the sheep pushes away from the skunk. I'll let you figure out yourself where the man goes.
Man pushes, sheep pushes back, man pushes, sheep pushes back, and so on and so on. ;)
I got all 3 working though last night they were not working  Though after it went to the hook worked perfectly.

The man is using the Skunk I think (remember, i'm Dutch ;) so I think the skunk is weed and not an stinky animal). :narnar:
