This is to announce an Admin Meeting for ALL Game Admins and Section Admins to be held on the dMw Teamspeak server on
Saturday 22nd August at 20:00 UK time.
If you cannot make it please post in this thread to advise us and make sure that you include any of your thoughts/ideas in the post so that your voice counts. Your silence is agreement.
Please check that your microphone is working and that you have Teamspeak installed along with details of the dMw Teamspeak server whose IP and password can be found here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=3363).

Building on the recent flurry of activity the Community Admins have already asked for Game Admin feedback, either fresh ideas or your views on the points discussed in the public threads, so that we can consider how best to proceed. The theory was that if a healthy debate was had here we could then move the ideas and debate on to a stage where we could discuss the distillation of ideas felt worthy of further debate and then later move to a position where the Community Admins could make final decisions based on everyone's feedback.
On 24th July I posted here (http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=28248) and requested your views on the ideas generated by the public thread and your own additional ideas so that we could move the community forward. We are now almost a month down the line and we want to move things forward.
The below is a Draft Agenda for the meeting which I have pulled from the thread in this section only as these are the points YOU raised as important.
If you think any of the other points/suggestions form the original Supporting Members' thread need inclusion then you need to post them here so that we can formalise the agenda.
As the time gets closer to the meeting I will try to merge those items that would benefit from discussion in a wider context to try to limit the duplication and time we will spend on this on the night.
DRAFT Agenda Items for Discussion:

- PR Membership officer
- Publicity/Marketing
- 'Welcome new member' procedure
- Web update/development team
- Game server debate: public, reserved slots, private, etc; tactical v frag and server populations; frag servers as a feeder
- watershed rules: any need to formalise?
- Suggested regularised Admin meetings on TS to a pre-set agenda
- Current game portfolio and recommended additions/deletions
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU CONSIDER THESE AGENDA ITEMS IN DEPTH BEFORE THE MEETING STARTSPlease be advised that due to the number of people expected at the meeting I will be enforcing relatively strict chairmanship. We will not go off agenda and I may ask some speakers to either come to a point or wind up their comments if they are taking too long. I aim to ensure that the meeting will not become a loose-talk shop. I hope for a constructive & healthy debate on the night.

Dang, I can't make this one either. Sorry but I'll be en-route to my hols!
With just 24 hours to go until the planned Admin Meeting I have decided to cancel it due to lack of feedback received prior to the meeting and the number of people due to attend. Thank you to those few who provided written feedback, it will be used but I think I need to go away and sort another date and time where a higher percentage of the GAs and SAs can attend.
I apologise for the short notice, but I was hoping to have received more feedback by now and have not. I will post new arrangements for the meeting as soon as I have worked out how best to proceed.
I have send some feedback to Armitage but as I was unsure if he could make it aswell.
Sorry to hear it is cancelled.
Saturdays is normally speaking my other hobby.
