are u all moving to 1.6 or staying on 1.5?

what 1.6 server u use blueball.deadmen.co.uk:27016? one or is there another?

A careful and thorough perusing of the 28,000 posts on this forum would have given you this this piece of information.  However as you can't be arsed, I'll tell you myself   :P

The original intention was for Homer to remain 1.5 and for Baldric to go to 1.6 (seeing as we play league matches on Baldric and ED went to 1.6 yesterday  :lmfao: ).  However, the planned temporary outage on Baldric during the smooth upgrade process to 1.6 via Steam encountered two unexpected hitches:

1)  Valve provided us with a server installation package that went as painlessly as someone trying to shit 300lbs of broken glass.  

Oh yeah, I forgot - the second problem:

Needless to say, this wonderful package hosed the Baldric installation and as a courtesy gesture, it hosed Homer too.   :blink:  So the original plan went somewhat awry.

At some point in the future we will be back on air.....but I guarantee that this will be nothing to do with Valve and everything to do with our hard working server admins, particularly Oldbloke, Stryker and DogMeat........

That is my own CS 1.6 server rather than the clan's - it doesn't have a defined gameplay style as I do not wish to detract from from the main PCS servers - in short, we use it for messing around on ;)

I can connect to BB's server with no probs, just can't get onto the hook. Others can though which is odd?

Wooo, I've found something different! After a complete evening trying to get anything out of the goddam thing, I finally get connected. I see MH is there like a light shining in the distance. I approach with gleeful anticipation, 'This server requires a password'. No worries, I know the password, it's ******* . Connect! Wait for it.........BADPASSWORD! What? Retry that about 40 times, smash head into monitor, go to bed. Good night! :angry:

yes i did and followed the instrutions and it works my binded keys that is i can play 1.6 when i choose a server but none of me shortcuts r working.

Regarding buyscripts I suggest that you don't use the Nextwish or RZE until they are "final" and working in 1.6. I have heard that more people than us have had problems with them. For the time being I suggest that you write your own script.
