My son (as a lot of you CSS ppl know) Alex was minding his own business lying on some grass in a park with some friends, when a lad about his age ran up to him and kicked him in the head.
Several hours and a couple of visits from the paramedics later, I'm still fuming :ranting2:
The police want him/me to file a complaint so that they can take it further. Basically, its ABH with intent to cause GBH. Kicks to the head I believe are a serious matter!
Alex of course is reluctant to do anything as this lad seems to think that Alex dobbed him in about damage to cars in the area. The area is where a girl friend of his lives so he wont be going up there again for a while!
So what do you think? Make a statement to the police? Or not?
I know what I would like to do but that would be breaking the law
Anyway, he is gonna be fine, been throwing up a little and has a sore head and will have a black eye etc but other than that he should be ok.
Jabbs out
Sorry to hear that :crying:...I'm glad he's going to be OK!
Wish him all the best! :byebye:
Sorry to hear that Jabbs, sent him my best wishes.
My instinct is to report such incidents; My daughter witnessed a drunk driver reverse over the top of 2 youngsters. she rang an ambulance and was interviewed by the police at the scene and then 4 months later. She agreed to appear in court. I was proud that she had stood up to be counted and done all the right things, but I've recently had cause to wonder whether it was worth it, as no action was taken despite many independent witness statements saying the same story.
I'm still glad she did it though, and would want her to do the same thing if anything like it ever happened again.
Sorry Jabbsie.
Send him my regards and a speedy recovery.
Report it for sure. Doing nothing is as bad as the crime itself. For small things like littering or graffiti I can see people not wanting to do anything (the police don't do anything anyway), but for an assault, yes.
It'll build a case if he does something like this again, or if he regularly does other stuff (like the cars) they might give him an asbo.
alex has a girl friend?
lol just joking
i would have made statements and taken it further to be honest i know that u want to take matters in justice ur way but jut let the police do there job and u do yours
Sorry to hear that mate. Defo report it to the police, he might already have a record for the cars or w.e.
Send alex my love <3 :winkiss::)
Just told Alex about your replies so far guys - thanks.
He replies thanks very much, he's feeling a little better and he'll pwn you later ;-) (now might be a good time to sit him at the pc)
What a scumbag, someone should kick him in the head! :ranting2:.
Wish him a fast recovery, my friend was jumped by a bunch of lads last year, and unfortuantly he could'nt remember faces due to the injuries he suffered. If we could find the people responsible im sure they will never walk again.
I would try your best with trying to convict this pathetic waste of space, although my faith in the police force has long gone.
My god the thought of someone deliberately kicking another person in the head for whatever reason just makes me sick. :ranting2:
In my oppinion you should definitely file a complaint with the police so the scumbag might get the punishment he deserves.
And naturally my best wishes to Alex!
Report it. I understand you feelings but two wrongs doesn't make one right.
I hope Alex is well.
Agreed with pretty much everyone here, defintely report it.
If not for your son's benefit, then think about this: if it goes without being reported then the next incident might end up with someone else's son killed or brain damaged as this yob thought he could get away with it. People like that need to be sorted rapidly so they become less of a danger to the public.
And that having been said, the very best to Alex, hope he recovers swiftly and without and lasting inury.
TL.
With TL and all report it. If it isn't it can lead to this savages all over the country belive they can get away with it.
All the best to Alex tell him to take it easy for a little while :)
Sorry to hear that Jabbs, definitely report it mate. I know a lad who got in a fight and knocked the other guys front tooth out, he had to do 40 hours community service and cough up Ã,£700 or so in compensation to the lad. Do your worst!
Best wishes to Alex.
They are scum basically and don't care about the consequences. Hope Alex feels better soon.
Someone like that aint good in his head, report him. As TL said, if it will prevent atleast another incident its worth the trouble.
Hope Alex will get better soon.
You have a responsibility to report it....
It could stop the lad from doing it again and if not the penalties will get worse for them over time and ultimately another idiot off the streets.
I'd report him also, but I'd also wait on him one dark night when he was alone (if it happened to any of my kids, or wife) and beat the crap out of him.

Second that will beat the crap out off him good ore no good.
Sad to hear that jeebus
Hope Alex is ok. Say hi and hope to see him on the servers again soon!
