Around 20 plus years, started with the MSX games went to the first Nintendo to PC gaming where I still am. My favorite type off games are RTS, RPG and puzzle/adventure games (I want a remake/rerelease of Grim Fandango)
What kind of raiding experience do you have?
Been raiding in Vanilla wow with The Silver Oak Guardians where we cleared as a 40 man raid MC and BWL and AQ40 up to C'thun. As a 25 man raid we cleared ZG and AQ20 on a regular basis. In TBC I went to Genesis and cleared SSC and TK, after that MH and the BT. 2 bosses were killed in the SWP. In WOTLK naxx 10 has been cleared malygos 20 man and 3 bosses in ulduar 10 man (Flame leviathan, the Deconstructor and Kologarn)
What other guilds have you been in and why did you decide or were forced to move on?
The main guilds I have been into were SOG (Pre TBC), then I was in Genesis where after they started at SWP work prevented to play the way I wanted. At the moment I am in Eyes of Ra but due to inactivity I decided to look out to a more active guild (social wise).
Do you actively play any alts that we could find you in case we need to contact you?
The alts I play the most on are Ere (druid) and Requina (DK).

What are your plans for the game? In what way would you like others to know you? Tell us about your personality, and why you enjoy the game.
My short term plans are to take it slowly to the next expansion and if this expansion turns out to be what I expect from it I will try to start raiding again.(Worgen Priest seems very attractive) I would like to be known as a helpful person who is serious when needed but likes to banter a bit when the focus is not as important. I enjoy the game the most when I am healing.
Name one thing you don't like about Wow in its current state.
I would like to mention 2 things here.
First the overall community in wow seems to get worse attitude wise, which I resent (this is also a reason I make an application here, cause DMR seems like a friendly bunch of people).
The other thing is that epics are too easy to obtain, especially since the last patch. I think the idea is good, but the quality of the loot that can be obtained in the new instance and badges is just a step too high.

Why did you decide to play this class?
AT the start after fooling around with a few classes, I liked a healing class the best. After leveling a paladin(requim, he has been deleted a few months ago) to level 60 I started to hate his role in MC (5 min BOK On the whole raid was :ranting2: when you were the only pally who had it, that and starting to find the paladin class boring made me decide that I wanted a more versatile Character, which urged me to create Lunares my Priest)
What do you think your class' role is in raid content?
A raid healer as holy and a support class to the other healers because of the versatile amount of spells a holy priest has. If a more solo healer is needed, disc would be a better option.
Comment on your build. Why did you choose it? What do you think of other builds of your class? Why didn't you choose one of those? (important question)
Most builds I have seen are very similar to mine with a few tweaks here and there. Those tweaks are done on my playing style and I feel comfortable playing this way. I still play most of the time on my gut feeling and I try to use as little mods as possible (of course some are mandatory like bossmods and the like).

What do you look for in a guild?
A friendly social environment which has the focus when needed but also likes to banter around but not at the cost of focus. But the focus should never be expelling the fun people should have in the game
''Dead Men Raiding'' - What comes to mind when you see that guild name?
For some reason the first thing comes to mind is that avatar TL uses.
The 2nd thing that comes to mind is the Silver Oak Guardians. this guild is not SOG but a lot of people I know from SOG are in here as well.
There are other guilds on the server, why did you apply to us?
Who do you know in Dead Men Raiding? How do you know them?
I applied to you because I know quite a few people in DMR and most of them are a friendly lot, which at the moment is my main aim in a guild.(together with a couple of HC with a guild party now and then when possible). I know them because some of them are old SOG members and I have joined 1 or 2 raids with DMR at the start when you were lacking raid members.

Annoying questions
A guildie says something you find offensive, what do you do?
Depending on how offensive it is to me I would talk to him/her in a whisper and try to sort things out that way. If this does not work or it is very offensive to me I would contact an officer.
Cake or Pie?
I hate pi(e), annoying mathematics and since the cake is not a lie chocolate cake would be preferred.
