Just thought I'd better let you know that depending on what happens I may have to drop out of the LAN.
Some of you may be aware that I've had some family problems recently and we are now trying to move my Dad from France back to Blighty. He has had a stroke and is on his own in a care home there. We are waiting for a place in a care home in Sheffield and once someone dies we will have about two weeks to move him. Hopefully this will not fall on the LAN weekend, but it might.
Fingers crossed that the old buggers hang on a bit.
Really sorry to hear that Terry, I hope it all works out well for him/you.
Of course don't worry about the LAN, that's the least important thing for you at the moment.
I hope your Dad's health improves and that the transfer goes smoothly and at a time convenient to you, but we all know that there's things you can't control, so I hope it goes as well as it can.
What will be etc. Hope all goes well, Terry.
What they said.....just don't leave me sat alone on a table of 12 year old lan virgins.....bring your dad along if you have to!
Good luck mate, hope it all pans out well.
Good luck with it all and don't worry about then LAN, there will be others. :)
Ooo a space has become available :yahoo: ( is this in good taste?)
I should be able to move the old scrote in on the 1st October and make the LAN! :D
Let the planning commence, hmm RyanAir and a wheelchair bound passenger. Game on!
