5000 Open beta keys available!
Over at Eurogamer (http://www.eurogamer.net/) they are currently holding a give away of 5000 Aion keys. To be eligible for a key you need to register and then go to the give away page (http://gamers.eurogamer.net/giveaways.php?id=86963).
Currently ~4708 keys remain so hurry up!
I grabbed one in case they all went fast, first to ask gets it. There were still over 4000 when I checked though, so if you hurry you'll probably be fine.
Hmm forgot i got a beta key a month ago, although grab these while you can as they will be gone quick!
Guess ill download the client and give it another go.

Where did you guys download the Beta from?
Gamershell doesn't work for me and Lumi.
The torrent one goes freakin slow (only 0.4% after a full day on).
I got it from torrent, 500kbps+ all the way. Does your ISP throttle p2p?
Normally speaking no problems here with torrents.:sad:

I've tryed to download it now for 2 days, no luck. As the betakey is still good for a few days, anyone interested in it? I got it from no_peanuts.

Have you tried getting it direct via the NCSoft Launcher and just leaving it running?

Finally seems to work after making a login for NCsoft which didn't work for me before.
How can I make it to start downloading from NCsoft?
I did download this; Aion installer.exe , it ran for a bit but doesn't anything anymore and just goes straight back to NCsoft after it's finished.
It did say this in the email;
When you run the installer, the Aion Downloader will begin downloading in the background. If you restart the Aion Downloader, the download will continue where it left off.
So, just wait untill it's done?
Aion installer.exe should be a small program which installs the launcher and starts it downloading the game. You should have a link to the launcher on your desktop or start menu, and you should see the launcher appear with a list of games when it runs, and it should start downloading Aion. :)
Didn't the first 5 tryes, now it's downloading Aion finally.
Might even get it in the end :roflmao:

And Jim, Sunday seems the day to play although according to Lumi you can set up your profiles and such Friday @ 21.00 NL-time = 20.00 UK-time.
