You probably won't see me around for a while. I came home from work on Tuesday only to find my girlfriend had packed her bags and left after living together for 3, going on 4 years. All I got was a lousy "It's not you, it's me" as she left everything we had worked so hard for behind.
I'm leaving all this behind me and going to stay with some friends for a while. I don't yet know what I want to salvage from these ruins even. It went from us having the best day of our lives buying an appartment together finally and being the happiest we've ever been, to 4 months later she can just drop me like we had nothing.
Damn Vargen, that's some bad news. I hope you get things sorted out for yourself, but keep in touch, there are lots of friends here who can help keep your morale up.
Sorry to hear that :sad: Luckily you got some good friends to stay with, and as TL said we can also try to cheer you up.

One thing I will say though, having gone through a year of hell myself (divorce & bankrupcy) is that given time it will all get better, I promise you.

Thanks for the support all. It may just be me taking this really hard, but for me it is just as painfull as if she was hit my a bus. One minute everything was fine, and then in 2 short days she was just gone. I'm trying to get things sorted, but at the moment I'm still just hung up on the thought that she might come back.

Just a little update on the situation for you;
I've been to the bank, and it seems I will be able to keep my appartment despite all this that's happened. So at least there shouldn't be much keeping me from going on with my own life. Takes a load off just knowing I won't be kicked to the street as well as losing the princess. You know how we gamers get when we don't get the princess or the cake for that matter. If she doesn't look back, then I guess it wasn't what I thought it was after all.
Just wanted to thank you all for the understanding and hope you didn't write me off just yet. If anything I will have waaaay too much time on my hands weekday nights to come.
