Would you not be better off with a projector, rather than having all that framework in the middle of the screen?

That is genius. 8 projectors. Get's over the problems with a projector being lower resolution. Rear project a 16ftx9ft (Or 8x4.5 for higher density picture) screen. You'll have a very high resolution, yet very large screen.
