The map rotation will be changed shortly from the standards maps now that most people have settled into steam.  Please hold on for just a wee while until you see the new rotation.

There is always the "Classic Map Pack" available at Gamespy (http://www.fileplanet.com/dl.aspx?/counter-strike/csnation/mercenary/cs_classics.exe) and this Brazilian site (http://www.adrenaline.com.br/adrenaline.php?secao=news&id=4891) to start with?

CS Classics includes all of the maps that were officially included in Counter-Strike at one point, but were removed in later revisions (from Beta1 to 1.6). CS Classics also includes custom resource files and high quality overviews for all 29 maps.

Note: This pack is intended for CS 1.6 users, as it includes as_tundra and de_vegas which were removed in 1.6
