Title: Need for Speed: Shift
Post by: GhostMjr on September 16, 2009, 01:23:23 PM
Now i suppose this isn't a good post for my first post in the DMR section as nfs is usually very unrealistic but here it goes :).

Installed this and its a bit of a slow runner.

By this i mean loading is pretty long 20- 30 secs often for 2 lap races.

Theres an ability to switch off all the gui and noises with the click of a switch so its just you and your car.

So far completed a few races but the loading is beginning to get annoying.

I have q6600 4gb ram so surely it should be quick?

Anyway thought i'd post up to see if anyone else has bought it.

I am using a game pad by the way :D

The trouble with Need for Speed:Shift is that they included one too many 'F's in the title.

I dont think you'll find many dMr guys who will admit to playing NFS, as its not a sim. :). I would think your pc spec would run most games without a problem. :g:

I just read this thread (http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=61446) on the LFS forum. Doesn't seem worth bothering with for me :) It looks nice enough, as usual.
