What more can I say, excellent job to all involved. Great teamwork, great adaptability when we had minor incidents and above all a fantastic job well done.

Back on Tuesday to clear! :D

I'm in your friends list! <3

Great job all. Make sure you keep up the good work coming raids - we need to turn the tide permanently.

I appreciated the new pulling speed, Garrit. And like you said in your other post, we can improve even more in this aspect.

Yeah although still a good night of raiding, from looking at logs we still have people that need to work on their rotation.

DPS'sers that are barely doing more damage than the tanks in alot of fights. Clearly doing something wrong here!

And why are people still rolling for loot thats been a vendor item for months. Everyone as a minimum for a raider should have the vendor set. They aren't hard to get at all, just do a load of heroics for the emblems and whilst there learn your rotations!!!

Other than than woop woop thorim down!

That is something for the classleaders to decide/say etc.

You don't know what was/is going on etc.

So plz keep that talk for yourself or send a pm to one of the classleaders.

The man is entiteled to his right to comment, and if his thoughts arent flower power positive so be it.
And by looking at the logs, the man is right...
More can still be done to increase dps by certain people.

His coments were posted..
story? other then discussion about wow on IRC there is no fairy tale to be heard.. simple logs show people doing silly low dps..
i dont see why something like that should be with held from the rest of the guild, as it would be in everyones interest to discuss it..

i guess thats why this is called a forum.

grats on the kill btw :D

Correct, the CLs will ineed comment on things directly with those members concerned, but that does not bar general comment on the raid performance.  There is nothing wrong with posting what appears to be generic comment in the forums, heck we like members to get involved in things, but with the overriding rule that we need to ensure such comment is both correct and not an overly simplistic incorrect summation.

He was in the raid, the RL posted the logs, so I presume he knows as much about what was going on as you do?  Or am I missing something?

By all means send specific comments about other players to the CLs and not the forum.  But as far as I can see nothing that was said was a player-specific a personal attack, so it's fine on the forums if a little over-simplistic in my personal view.

Logs are like stats': there are lies, damned lies and statistics.  You need to look at them very carefully and analyse a huge number of other factors before reaching any tentative conclusions.  It would be fantastic if everyone looked at their own logs and understood them, but sometimes it needs some coaching to understand what they are telling you and how to interpret and use the results.  That's where the CLs come in and should be supporting other raiders.  As I see it part of that process is an open discussion on the forums about both classes and raiding.  So I would encourage every class to make a post about how you run your own talent build, glyphs, what you think it does for the raid, your rotation options and gear/stat choices in the role topics.  I'd also encourage individual topics here in the member topic to discuss each encounter you come across and how to defeat it.  If there is player-specific stuff then talk to your role leader directly and let them deal with things on a 1:1 basis with the raider concerned - your own concerns may be right OR wrong as you might not be aware of that persons other assignments or roles on specific fights.

However, all this does mean that the CL needs to bone up on all the theorycrafting for the classes and builds in their area of responsiblity, as well as having sufficient knowledge of the other classes to appreciate their interraction with the class being studied.  I look forward to seeing & contributing to such threads in the CL/Role Leader section.
