There was general fraghunting and nadespamming and bunnyhopping on the server last night, and we specced people and saw it. We tossed out a few messages about it, about NOT doing it (not mentioning any names AT ALL) and Origin exploded and said that all these rules are directed just to him and he was fed up about it.
I said: Who said it was directed to YOU?
Oth said: What are you on about?
Tbh if you ask me, the reason he felt so attacked is his guilty conscious talking. I KNOW he is fraggunting AND nadespamming AND wallspams AND glitches as I have specced him for a whole map. But let me still press that we did NOT mention his name in any way when we tossed out the console messages.
After that he said that he sees loads of dmwers spawnkilling and spamming and nothing happened to them and then he said he didnt care and left.
I dont know if I handled the whole thing wrong, but I feel he's reaching a little when he's accusing all dmwers for rulebreaking. And I dont understand how he can feel attacked solely when no name were mentioned. I think he felt attacked cos he knows he is breaking the rules.
Thats me venting out, cos he made my cod4game so crap I left..
I saw him frag hunting on overgrown as the he was running way from a defending HQ point.
When that console message was sent out and he thought that message was directed at him, I directly asked him 'Does that mean you are bunny hoping?' as clearly he has just admitted it.
He then started accusing dMw'ers breaking the rules, I stated that no one breaks the rules dMw or not, but he left before he saw or was able to discuss.
I keep a closer eye on him (and others)
He was the one that complained the other night as well.
He said "Why have rules if everyone breaks them?"
In the spirit of keepimg members happy, I asked him for clarification on what rules he was talking about and told him I'd sent a pm (which was asking what rules were being broken and how we can ameliorate it). He immediately said "oh great so I'm getting reprimanded by pm." In fact it was nothing of the sort ..... but from this, and the above, it looks like he's got a major dose of paranoia going on.
I think someone needs to have a quiet word saying that as a member of dMw he has a s much right as anyone else to voice his opinion but really, for gawd's sake, don't assume that everything is aimed at him. :rolleyes:
