Whilst I'm still unhappy at the timing of this new version I must say I'm liking what I see.

As the man says ... not $60 and comes with dedicated servers :)

Great vid,

and while I am disapointed by the amount for stuff released for L4D I still feel that I got great value for money out of it.

The fact that i got it for Ã,£20.25 makes it acceptable, although that 25 pence was pushing the limits...

Good vid! Althought this one has a completely new feel to it. L4D's video made me cry with fear and clutch a kitchen knife to keep me safe while I played it, but this one this was more 'yea, lets chainsaw up some zombies!'

If I average the price of L4D 1 and L4D 2 I paid it was just Ã,£20.11 which I don't think is too bad.

It's too soon, but I don't regret buying it. I really hope they don't make me regret it with limited DLC or another sequel.

I don't mind them shafting consolers with rapid sequels, but PC gamers are far more sophisticated and have developed better vocal ranges. They should be treated with respect. Especially by a PC centric company like Valve.

Left4Dead 1 was good for a while but for the life of me I couldn't be bothered with it after the initial giggles and guffaws wore off. This, I have to say, looks a different kettle of fish! :dribble:

It's been postponed whilst they iron out some bugs.

That said, in their shoes given the backlash that is part of the community they can't really win.

It was meant to be out 8pm yesterday delayed due to bug problems.

Then postponed from 6am to 1pm and now pushed back to 8pm tonight.

Hope its out tonight.

I'll be about if anyone wants a run through.

Hotel wi-fi is flipping expensive. This may possibly be the most expensive forum post ever written.

I got up nice and early this morning, in the vain hope that I might be able to have a crack at the demo before I had to drive all the way up here to Bradford. Damn your eyes, Valve.

So is it out yet? Anyone had a go on it?

Here's the official countdown timer (http://steamcommunity.com/games/L4D2/events/55327883716288366?language=english), that has been stealthily incrementing in one hour intervals since 8pm with the 'Delay' announcements.

But at time of posting this is now showing as 13 minute overdue.

Ooh, Spitters (spits and explodes acid), Jockeys (jump on your back), Chargers (does something or other) and a few new standard zombies, such as riot police with body armour.

Picking up a frying pan as a weapon will drop your pistols/magnum.

And it's set in the daylight.

I'll leave it after 5 minutes and get some rest.

It seems alright. The new models aren't bad. Not sure about the new specials yet. I guess I won't know till I've played against people with them.

Was shocked to see a female boomer. The new weapons are hit and miss. I don't see why anyone would pick up the frying pan or guitar as they don't seem that powerful, but some are alright.

Nah, she exploded like a boomer. Pop and bile no acid. I might have miss saw, but I'm 90% sure it was female, though the models are a bit different (eg smoker in a white t-shirt) it could just have been an illusion.

Just played it, its not very long but a lot of fun. Shame we cant play versus in the demo, but ill never get bored of hiting zombies with frying pans and electric guitars.

So far looks awesome, having riot police with bullet proof vests is not nice :D, just over 2 weeks and we can play the full version :woot2:
