Hey all,
Just a short post to inform you that I've taken a (hopefully small) break from raiding for now. Aside from school being a bit hectic (which is more of a convenience for me rather than the actual reason) I've also lost interest in raiding as it's currently happening. I don't mean that in yet another rant-style fashion. I just need to recharge a bit, and consider what I want from the game and how to get it.
So for at least the next few weeks I won't be around for the raids anymore. Maybe the odd heroic but consider me on a short hiatus. I've already informed the officers a few days ago but wanted to make it public too. I have every faith in the other officers' ability to substitute me in boring you to death with my raidleading voice ;-) And our uber tank department is sure to keep up the good work ^^

Enjoy your break, I have found my enforced moving break actually has helped me recharge my interest in raiding again.
We all pay to play, so we should all get what we want/need from the game. :)
On a side note - my internet is being reconnected in my new house on 3rd Nov, so all being well I will be back raiding with you all next week!!:boxing:
Right, when I took my break a while back, I didnââ,¬â,,¢t actually take it because I needed a break per se. It was more to see what the consequences would be if I werenââ,¬â,,¢t around, with my usual jabbering on TS and thatââ,¬Â¦ And to look elsewhere. Iââ,¬â,,¢ve been toying with the thought for some time, and come to the conclusion that I want something more from the game than I feel I am currently able to get. To this aim I have been looking at other raidgroups, and one spot has opened up. I have been given a trial so I am moving there.
Thereââ,¬â,,¢s no reason to turn this into an epic and dramatic thread as Iââ,¬â,,¢ve done my share of that in other posts in the past, so I wonââ,¬â,,¢t. Itââ,¬â,,¢s also not related to what anyone said or did in recent days, or some mad sudden event that triggered this. As I said Iââ,¬â,,¢ve toyed with the thought for some time, have kept it to myself mostly, and decided to act on it a few weeks back. I've told the other officers about my plans a few days back. So with that said, as I really donââ,¬â,,¢t know how to end this: I will probably still be around on my alts (think TL-like) from time to time, just Garrit is raiding elsewhere. If you want to know more, drop me a line, if not, Iââ,¬â,,¢m easy either way. Itââ,¬â,,¢s been a true pleasure raiding with DMR but I feel it is now time for me to move on.

Yeah, I've noticed your applications and kinda saw this coming too. I was surprised to see you in the raid last night, but it was cool that you stayed for one last time before you moved on.
This game is everything about having fun and I think all of us wants you to be the happiest you can be, wherever it may be. You've been a fantastic raid leader, a good team player, an excellent tank and they're lucky to have you.

I think is fair to say you have been a major force moving this guild on. Its gunna be a big hole to fill. Many many thanks for the work you have put in we can only wish you the best of luck in ya new adventure :crying:
