So whats gonna happen with aion inside dMw.
Cos i got the feeling is bit death as most evenings there not more then 2 ore maybe 3 online...
I know few allready quite the game cos off this and some diff reasons.
Talk death up and it might happen. Best place to post this question to is Boon who is now heading up the Aion section, I am sure he will be talking to the active players and forming a leadership group, then formulating plans for the Legion to grow. There's 31 in the Legion and you'll never get them all online all the time, but yes we would want to see the numbers expand!
At the LAN it was decided to make Aion an officially supported game, and I agreed to take the role of section admin - so rather than let it die, I'll be looking to help it grow (starting with playing more often myself ). My hope is that it can become a lively section and possibly bring some new blood (of the right type ofc) into dMw.
So first I need to have a think about ways to achieve that, and I'll post to let you know what's going on. Your thoughts and suggestions are also more than welcome. :)
I'll have a chat with you on TS B00n.
Currently a few of us are setting up new characters so we have a diversity of characters so we can help out others to level up also.
@ KKND, a few of us wern't on lately due to that LANthing.

Good work Pen bravo.
Seems like the first order b00n needs to handel is the new officer grp for the legion, since half of the old officer grp were not online almost ever.
And the kicking of some ppl who havent been online for 1 month.
I am sure you were discussing that with him when you parties together last night and that action will be forthcoming. He's only just received the Brigadier rank, so let's give him 24 hours to settle in!

Most of the current officer group will remain for the time being, I think, since among them are the people who still play often.
First thing I will be getting a handle on is where we stand at the moment, and to that end I'll be sending a PM to everyone who has played Aion at some point asking if they intend to continue - not intending to start kicking characters from the legion as we have plenty of space at the moment, but just so I can gauge where we're at. :)

Most off the new ones didn't not sign up too the webby so it's bit hard to send them pm's.
They are also not that much online ore been never online anymore.

I'll drop those guys mail in game. Anyone who doesn't reply will be first to go when we need to make space again. :)
I changed the Legion Announcement to force more towards the dMw forums, referred to TS IP & pw being here.
Also, we need to start adding nicks to Legion members so we know which dMw member it is. Only a couple have them atm.
Hey guys.
Im completly new to the dMw community and just joined you guys Through Aion.
I myself havent played for a while, and this is mainly becouse there's not so many people online. I logged on yesterday to find me, being the only one on. Since one of the things I value very highly in a mmo is the social aspect, ive been finding myself logging off allmost right after logging in, since i enjoy to chat/talk with people in the Legion.
Those of you i've met ingame have all been very kind, and i was really happy to have joined your community, but the lack of players online, made me play less and less.
I will try and pop by more often, and hopefully see more of you in there, since you all seem like a very fun bunch of poeple.:D
That's just my 2 cents.
Crean
@B00n, you can allways send them an ingame email.
@Crean
What time did you logon?
I was there from about 18.00 untill 23.30 NLtime.
I'm on loads and so is Skass.
BTW, do you have TeamSpeak? I can usually be found up there while playing Aion.
I reckon b00n will set something up.
Atm I play mostly on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (hence the lvl37).
If you want to level, try and group up with someone else. It's more fun to do it together and goes quicker also. A few of us are teaming up now with new characters.
So what level do you have and do you have TeamSpeak?
hey DuVel.
Think i must have just missed you then, and yes i do have TS but from what i could understand people had trouble hearing me on there, not sure how to fix that. My ventrillo works fine, so might just be some settings in TS.
Yea i try and group up, im only level 19 at the moment so doing all the Krall quests. My point about the social aspect is that i really like to do group/raid/quest stuff with legion-members, so when i log in and see im the only one online, i tend to log off again.
But as i mentioned ill try too pop by more often, was planning on playing a bit today maybe.
Looking forward to see you guys online.:byebye:
I think one off the part off Aion is like what Crean says doing group quests with your legion.
Which whe not do....prob is also members whe got has all diff lvl's so it's bit hard to do group stuff.
But it is very good thing too think about it..most of my groupquests i did with strangers.
And even then it's sometimes very hard too find a group...wich i know from Luna and myself.
With my main char im not that much online anymore cos i got only group stuff and cant find any decent group for it....

Hey Crean, don't think I've had the chance to play with you yet. :) Welcome to dMw! :byebye:
I think a few people have been playing Aion less due to low player numbers, this is something we'll need to address over time. The obvious way to address it is to get more people playing and recruit more (and to that end I'll be very grateful for any help in encouraging players anyone happens to meet towards joining and/or checking out the forum ;).
However in the meantime, to ensure regular group-oriented Legion gaming, how would everyone feel about say two days a week (to begin with) set aside as Aion days when we can all be sure of getting together? We run this system for other games and it definitely helps to ensure people turn up. I'm thinking Sunday and one day midweek sometime... bearing in mind we don't want to conflict too much with other dMw game nights, I would appreciate any input on this. :)
Of course anyone who would play other times is free to do so and I'll usually log on if I have a spare hour or two, but many people (myself included) play a lot of other games too, and having set days is a good way to schedule things I think.
Side note for people new to dMw - joining in with other games and community activities is strongly encouraged! :D We would love to have you playing and meeting more of the community on our other game servers - who knows, maybe one day you too will join us at our LAN party
, get very drunk and miss most of the weekend.
Heya b00n, got any days in mind allready?
Let me know.
Oh and if you sometimes see me leave and I didn't post a message in Legionchat, it means my keyboard was messing up again and setting the language back to NL.

I was thinking Sunday and Tuesday, what do you think?
Sunday because it allows a larger timeframe for people to drop in when they can make it.
Tuesday because there's not much else on, gaming wise (afaik?).
Allright by me, got to say, the only ones I have seen on latey are Crean, Deadeyes, Acid and KKND.
What happend to the rest?
BTW, can make Tuesdays now again.
And a few guys stopped playing it seems. If anyone within dMw has the plan to quit Aion, sell all your stuff and give us the Kinah.:flirty:
